At TourBC.ca Ecotourism, we are not simply creating tours. We are creating opportunities for people to connect deeply with the land, themselves, and each other in a way that feels real, respectful, and unforgettable.
Founded by Nathan McIlwraith, TourBC.ca was built with a vision to share the wisdom, beauty, and responsibility of Indigenous ways of life through sustainable travel, outdoor adventure, and cultural connection.

Our Story
A Homecoming, Not a Straight Path
Nathan’s journey into this work was not a straight path — it was a homecoming. Introduced to the Creator and truth early in life, the deeper roots of his heritage began to take hold in his late teens when he was adopted by the great Lenny Poucette.
Through the teachings, traditions, and stories of his ancestors, Nathan’s life was redirected toward community, sustainability, and reverence for the land. Those teachings became the foundation of TourBC.ca Ecotourism.
